Earthbox
I spent much of the winter figuring out how to improve the soil in my garden

its not a matter of just digging clay out and replacing it - the remaining clay acts like a bucket - holding your plant roots in water until they rot
One day I get a flyer about the earthbox ...
http://www.earthbox.com/
self contained - all you do is pour in some potting mix, has a water reservior in the bottom - even has an automated watering system.
Which means to me - no more digging clay out, installing draing lines, and then mixing new soil to go back in! YEAH!
Also - they allow me to move them around and try different spots in the yard.
So I am looking forward to trying them out.

My elderly mother tried this out a few years ago and had great results growing tomatoes.
